| The Company adheres to the guidaning principles of being people-oriented to ensure a safe environment for the development of its business. Despite possessing excellent geological conditions and even with the remote possibility of coal mine incidents happening, the Company has still listed safe production in the coal mines to be one of their top priorities. The Company has fully strengthened the management of safety to encourage the smooth development of the enterprise. At the meantime, the Company has also set up and improved different systems for the management of safety, polished the system construction based on a safe production responsibility system, reformed the safety management system for every stage of the production, established a system for promoting responsibility in the management and assessment of safety and also enhanced the safety control of the enterprise. As a result, the management of mine safety has been standardized.
The Company has also adopted many measures for coal mine safety, which include the installation of a complete set of advanced safety monitoring system in the mine, reinforcement of the mine safety monitoring system, renewal of the safety facilities and maintenance of equipments for water and fire prevention and control, as well as the maintenance of ventilation equipments. These measures have, on one hand, further improved the safety foundation and enhanced the disaster prevention and control capability of the mines. On the other hand, these measures have also provided an effective monitoring system for disaster prevention and safety securities of the mines. The mines have been equipped with corresponding safety equipments according to the low level of methane. In order to raise safety consciousness within the mine, as well as to strengthen concepts of legal regulation and safety management techniques of staff, the Company has also enhanced its safety training for workers. |
